What is your job title?
How long have you been working at POS?
I have been working at POS since September, 2011
What types of projects do you work on at POS?
I work mainly in protein extraction, isolation, concentration, and drying projects. In the past, I have worked in the oil processing projects as well. I also have experience working in the solvent extraction processes.
What do you enjoy most about working at POS?
Team work and finding creative solutions for process challenges.
What attracted you to this industry in general and POS in particular?
POS is a leader in R&D and custom production for agricultural and biological products and processes. My educational background is in agricultural and biological engineering areas. So I am able to apply my knowledge and skills while working at POS. I must say I enjoy working at POS as it focuses mainly in the areas of my academic training.
How would you describe your experience of working at POS? How does it compare to previous roles you’ve had?
I have gained valuable experience in various tools used in food industries, managing R&D and custom processes in the engineering field, installation of equipment, and managing contractors. I would have to admit that my trouble shooting skills have been improved a lot (gut feeling skills as well ☺). My current experience at POS and my previous roles have provided me the foundation for making the best possible process decisions.
If you were CEO, what would be the first thing you’d do to make POS even better?
- 1. Custom processes.
- 2. POS brand value added products (in oils and protein areas).
- 3. Long term clients for POS group of companies.
- 4. Advertising of our capabilities.
