The measures taken by our dedicated Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance personnel allow clients to substantiate their product's compliance to regulations (i.e. CFIA and U.S. FDA); ease international transport, allow export of products, and enable inbound and outbound traceability.
Our Manager of Quality Assurance & Environmental
Affairs is a Certified Quality Auditor of the American Society of
Quality.
Our quality management system includes:
- ISO 9001:2000 compliant
- Health Canada NHP Site License for manufacturing natural health products
- Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) site license for manufacturing ready to eat fish and marine oil
- CFIA approval to export fish and marine oil produced at POS Pilot Plant
- GLP (Good Laboratory Practice)
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
- Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards as recommended
for the food industry by Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA)
and Health Protection Branch (HPB)
- Revenue Canada licensed bonded manufacturer

- HPB license for industrial hemp processing
- cGMP-trained pilot plant operating staff
- development of sanitation validation programs
