Mr. Greg Muir Appointed CFO of POS Bio-Sciences

Mr. Dale Kelly, President and CEO of POS Bio-Sciences, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Greg Muir, CMA, MBA, to the position of CFO at POS Bio-Sciences, effective March 15, 2012. 

Mr. Muir is a Certified Management Accountant with over 30 years of experience as a results driven Financial and Operations leader within several successful research based multinational companies.  He brings exceptional business capability and a wide range of outstanding technical qualifications to his role at POS, including experience within sophisticated GMP certified manufacturing facilities in the Canadian pharmaceutical and food processing industries.   Most recently he served as President/CEO of Orbus Pharma Inc., a generic pharmaceutical developer and manufacturer based out of Toronto. 

Mr. Muir possesses his CMA designation, and has an MBA from Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto.  He is a professional member of the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario. 

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for processing, tracking and preparing statistical, financial and accounting reports for both pilot plant and laboratory projects.  You will coordinate, process and administer payroll, pension and securities.  You will process, verify and reconcile financial records and business transactions and be responsible for month end procedures, account reconciliations, customer billing, bank reconciliations and cash flow analysis. 

The ideal candidate will be working towards a professional accounting designation with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.  You have a strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities and the ability to prioritize is imperative. Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills as well as superb verbal and written communication skills are required.  You will have intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software, along with experience in ADP payroll and Crystal reporting which would be considered an asset.
